Good People Gone Bad
When good people go bad and they do not even know it.
We all know these people by their actions and some of us do not realize they are even wrong. Most of the time, the ones we know about are in law enforcement or work in the government somewhere.
People go to work and most want to do a good job. So they learn their responsibilities and once in a while they get so enthusiastic that they cross the line. Police Officers seem to do it the most often and maybe that is because of what they see and have to put up with all the time but, the Constitution doesn’t make that allowance and neither should they.
For example, there are many stories of police officers doing something illegal, planting evidence, drugs, guns, information of some kind in order to get a conviction.
In America doing the wrong thing for the right reason seems to have supplanted our Constitutional Rights!
How about making up stories (lies); in order to have PC to search someone or someone’s property?
While it is important to get criminals off the street especially those criminals who would prey on children it is also important to make sure our freedoms in this country are not eroded. Once they are gone they will not come back!
Anyone remember Ruby Ridge? Waco Texas? What were those people really guilty of except scaring the government and by that I mean some person in the government. When we say THEM or THOSE GUYS or THE GOVERNMENT , what we really mean is a person or persons working in those positions that initially start what eventually turns out to be some kind of police action against American citizens.
The most recent example may be the polygamists living in El Dorado Texas. The local community doesn’t like them “strangers” in their town. As far as anyone knows they have not broken any laws however, that has not stopped the government and law enforcement from once again ignoring the Constitution and their own laws and seemingly doing whatever the hell they want to force the outcome that they are looking for.
They served a search warrant and barged in to the compound and have been taking evidence and children out of the ranch all because they claim they received an anonymous phone call from some girl they cannot find or even prove exists, saying that she was being abused at the ranch.
Let me say that I believe anyone who abuses or preys on a child in any way for any reason needs to be put to death immediately without delay.
But, let me also say that any police officer, government official or private citizen making up lies and planting evidence as a means to an end, needs to be fired, publicly chastised and thrown in prison.
How is it in this country, America; that some one can just point a finger at someone or make an anonymous phone call and set the wheels in motion for the police to illegally search and seize property and arrest and imprison someone without any kind of proof?
That is reminiscent of Nazi Germany during the Holocaust!
These people who do this and those that act on this kind of circumstantial evidence at best and down right lies at worst think they are doing the right thing. They think they are saving and protecting children but in fact are just puppets being jerked around by others who are just plain breaking the law themselves and nothing more noble than that.
No matter what, the end cannot justify the means regarding our Constitutional rights in America!
NO MATTER WHAT!
Understand that these people in this compound may very well be breaking laws and abusing others. They may very well need to be arrested and imprisoned. However, lying and manufacturing evidence in order to “make it happen” is not acceptable.
