Idle Thoughts

Daily musings and demented, psychotic ponderings

I like music a lot, I played guitar most of my life and even was in a band once. I could spend hours playing music by myself or entertaining others. I was good, maybe even pretty good, but never REALLY good. I have 3 Fender Guitars that now have an inch of dust on them. I haven't touched them since March 25, 2001 and I never will again.

The Conspiracy

The Conspiracy

In light of the recent gasoline prices experts have said that they don’t really understand why the prices are so high and why OPEC will not increase supply in order to bring the prices down.
Some speculate that it is the gasoline futures market and the trading on Wall Street and around the world that is driving prices of oil up.
Some say it is the increased demand by countries such as China.
Let’s table that conversation for a moment and look at what may be the real reason.
Let’s say you are an Arab nation and you want to defeat the United States. You have a very big problem, the United States Military.
No country on the planet right now has the technology, the assets and resources or the expertise to defeat the United States Military.
Ah, but wait, maybe you don’t have to. Defeating the United States military is impossible so how do you bring down the United States of America without defeating its military?
Hm, well if you’re a member of OPEC and you get together with all the other member nations you just might figure out how to render the United States military useless.
Well here is where the conspiracy comes in. OPEC is primarily Muslim, most of the countries in charge of the world oil market are Muslim, and probably the next President of the United States is Muslim even though he has started denying it since running as a candidate. But he clearly has identified himself loyal to Islam in his books and writings.
How do you render the United States military useless? You deny it oil and gasoline. Without oil and gasoline we are no more powerful than any other nation in Earth.
Wait you say we have strategic supplies of gasoline for just such a situation.
Okay says the “League of Arab Nations”, instead of defeating the United States military how do you take away their strategic supply? THAT is the new problem they must solve. Get rid of the strategic fuel supply and you do not have to worry about the military. Can you use a military option to destroy it? No. Can you sabotage it? No. How then can you do it?
Easier than you might think. You get together with all your Arab Nation buddies and speculate in the oil market and drive the price up and up and up. You then control to a large degree how much supply is on the world market not allowing it to ease demand. Then you wait.
You wait for the people of the United States to yell so loud that people start looking at the Nations Strategic Oil Supply as a way to ease the prices at the pump. If your lucky, along comes Obama with his Muslim loyalties and liberal thinking and lack of military and foreign affairs knowledge and he suggests that the United States open up their strategic reserves and start letting people use it. This of course assumes that he isn’t actually part of the plan.
Now the Arabs wait and take note on just what they have to do to get the United States of America to do to itself what no other nation on Earth can do.
