Idle Thoughts

Daily musings and demented, psychotic ponderings

I like music a lot, I played guitar most of my life and even was in a band once. I could spend hours playing music by myself or entertaining others. I was good, maybe even pretty good, but never REALLY good. I have 3 Fender Guitars that now have an inch of dust on them. I haven't touched them since March 25, 2001 and I never will again.

Joe Citizen and the Denizens of Evil

Joseph Stack – was a man, an American, probably like most every other American citizens who are fed up with the elitist government we have, the illegal and unfair taxation we have and sad at the loss of his Country – America.
You may read this and ask “What the hell am I talking about”; well America is not the Country I grew up in.
Remember the saying that led to the Boston Tea Party “No Taxation without Representation?”

Well, ask yourself; are you represented any better than you have been or EVER asked for your opinion about how the government runs, spends money and creates laws? Well are you?

The answer is NO. Yet since 1960 our taxes have increased 150%

Guess what, so has the salaries that Congress and the Senate have granted themselves! Can you give yourself a raise? I can’t. But our employees, yes that’s right OUR EMPLOYEES, public goddamn servants in the Congress and Senate CAN and DO!

Okay, okay back to Joe. Joe had enough. He couldn’t take it anymore. So he got up yesterday morning, set his house on fire and then flew his airplane into the government building that housed the IRS in Austin Texas.

Do I condone this action? No. Not because I don’t think all those assholes need to die, but because I don’t think all those IRS assholes equal one Joe Citizen.

I think what we are seeing is the tip of the spear. These actions will continue to increase as this country gets closer to the brink.

All great societies have crumbled under their own weight. None have endured and ours won’t either.

I just hope that Congress and the Senate get theirs first before the rest of us so we can all watch. Congress IS responsible for all the problems in this country. If you do not believe that then just ask yourself who approves the budget – Congress, who approves expenditures – Congress, who creates the laws – Congress, who writes and approves the tax code – Congress, who approves, declares and then funds war – Congress.

Now ask yourself this, who blames all the problems on everyone and everything else but NEVER accepts responsibility for anything OR resolves any of these issues – Congress.
