Thanks Giving
Thanksgiving - 2010, seemingly an innocuous holiday but to many it is very special. To those people who love to eat and make eating an event; this day, Thanksgiving is the Holy Grail.
That is what Thanksgiving was to my son Eric. He truely loved to eat, and eat he did! Everything, especially meat. He loved meat! I too love meat I am the definition of Carnivore. But, my son made me look like a lightweight when it came to eating.
Eric liked Thanksgiving more than Christmas! Yes he liked getting gifts but he loved Thanksgiving because he loved getting food. He was a young man and was in very good shape. He was also in the Army and was a soldier. You would not believe how much this kid could eat by looking at him but I saw him and a friend bbq and eat a tri-tip roast at 1:30pm and still show up for dinner at 5:00!
I would not normally blog about Thanksgiving but it is almost upon us and this time of year always makes me think of my son.
That is what I am doing now.
